Zack Zuniga and Liam Etan met in National Security Innovation Network's (NSIN) UCF Entrepreneurship for Defense (E4D) class. The duo were introduced to the capabilities gap in current Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) training. After designing and prototyping a potential solution, Zack and Liam were entered in ARCENT's Innovation Oasis II competition, earning 1st place. This paved the road to quick success including briefing US CENTCOM's Commanding General, 1st Place at the UCF University Technical Venture Symposium (UTVS), and Top 3 at the UCF Joust Competition.

Chief Executive Officer

Zack Zuniga

Zack Zuniga is a dual major undergraduate in Electrical Engineering and Photonics Science & Engineering, with a SEMI Certification at UCF.

He has participated in the DIU/NSIN's Entrepreneurship for Defense (E4D), X-Force Fellowship, and Capstone Course. Zack is heavily engaged within the UCF community, serving as a Social Media Ambassador at CREOL, the College of Optics and Photonics, a Peer Coach for Entrepreneurship at the UCF BlackStone Launchpad, a council member of the UCF President's Leadership Council (PLC), and an active participant of the UCF Upstarts Incubator Program. On his off time, he's a huge moviegoer, loves listening to music, and enjoys dancing! He's thrilled to be a young entrepreneur, drawing from his practical experience and track record, and ready to lead his team to success.

Liam Etan

Liam graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and the Burnett Honors College in 2024. During his time at UCF, he gained two years of experience as a part time intern at Lockheed Martin with roles as a Mechanical Analyst and Mechanical Designer. He also took on a lead position at UCF's rocketry club, helping them win 1st place in their first competion ever, FAR 5K. Currently, he works as an Aerospace Engineer for the USAF at Eglin AFB and plans to start his masters degree at UCF in Engineering Program Management in Fall 2025.

Coming from an Air Force household, he has all the motivation needed to develop ZuLeris into a fully functioning company that delivers game-changing solutions to our warfighters.

Liam enjoys playing soccer and has been recently spending his free time trying to learn how to golf.

Jacob Noel

Jacob is currently a Master's Student in Computer Science with a Graduate Research Position at the Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR) Lab of UCF, working under Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira. He completed his two Bachelor Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and specialization in computer graphics and simulation and modeling.

He has also participated in a fellowship on behalf of the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN), continuing development of EW VTE for Zuleris. Jacob's unique technical expertise makes him a perfect fit to lead game development at ZuLeris.

Scott Schimpf

Scott, a software engineer, graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2024 with a bachelors in Computer Science.

His professional passion is problem solving the world of programming and designing complex system architecture plans. Over the years, the Unity game engine has been his favorite development environment; a choice that fit his duties here at ZuLeris Interactive perfectly. One of Scott's many roles at ZuLeris is leading a 4-man team of Senior Computer Scientists to develop EW VTE's first multiplayer capabilities.

He see's himself moving into a program architecture and gaining more leadership responsibilities where he can utilize his unique blend of personal and problem solving skills.
